Riftbound Starter Deck e Proving Grounds: come iniziare a giocare al TCG di League of Legends Riftbound Starter Deck e Proving Grounds: come iniziare a giocare al TCG di League of Legends

Everything about Riftbound starter decks

Every Riftbound starter deck in one place: the Riftbound Proving Grounds for newcomers, ready-to-play Champion Decks for every set, Champion Bundles for dueling, and Showdown Decks for 1v1 play. At Otakura you'll find both in-stock starters (Origins, Spiritforged) and preorder starters (Unleashed, Vendetta), with worldwide shipping from Italy.

The Riftbound Proving Grounds (the true Origins starter set)

The Riftbound Proving Grounds is the official Origins starter kit: two pre-built decks (Viktor + Jinx) balanced for immediate 1v1 play, illustrated step-by-step rules, Battlefield counters, tokens, and everything needed for your first match. It's released only for the Origins set — Riot has not announced a Riftbound Proving Grounds for Spiritforged, Unleashed, or Vendetta.

The Proving Grounds is the best choice for absolute beginners: it includes two players' worth of decks in a single purchase, the rules are explained inside the box, and the decks are pre-balanced to teach the core mechanics without needing anything else. View Proving Grounds product.

Champion Decks: the starter deck for your main

Champion Decks are pre-built decks dedicated to a single Champion. Every Champion Deck contains 40 ready-to-play cards, Standard-legal, and is the right choice for players who already have a favorite League of Legends Champion and want to play immediately without opening packs. Unlike the Riftbound Proving Grounds (2-player kit), each Champion Deck is single-player — you'll need a second deck to play against a friend.

FAQ Riftbound Starter Deck: domande su Proving Grounds, Champion Decks e bundle starter

Frequently asked questions about Riftbound starter decks

  • The Riftbound Proving Grounds (Origins) contains 2 pre-built single-Champion decks (Viktor + Jinx, 40 cards each), 4 Battlefield cards per player, complete illustrated rules, HP/mana/gear counters, and all base Token/Rune cards. It's the complete 2-player kit to learn the game and play right away.

  • It depends. The Riftbound Proving Grounds is better if you want to play 2-player immediately with a friend (includes 2 decks). A Champion Deck is better if you already have a favorite Champion and just want that one (single-player, you'll need a second deck to play against someone).

  • Yes. All Riftbound Champion Decks and the Proving Grounds decks are Standard-legal and can be played against each other without any issue. The base rules are identical.

  • Two options: 1) Buy the Riftbound Proving Grounds (includes 2 decks in a single purchase, the more economical choice). 2) Buy 2 different Champion Decks (e.g., Viktor + Jinx, or Rumble + Fiora) — more expensive but with more Champion variety.

  • Yes, completely. Every Champion Deck contains 40 pre-built cards, Standard-legal. Open the box, shuffle, and play. No need to open packs or build from scratch.

  • Pick your main's Champion Deck: Viktor (Origins, control), Jinx (Origins, aggro), Lee Sin (Origins, combat), Rumble (Spiritforged, mech/aggro), Fiora (Spiritforged, duelist), or Vex/Vi (Unleashed Champion Bundle, preorder).

  • Riot Games has not announced a Proving Grounds for Spiritforged, Unleashed, or Vendetta. For now, the Proving Grounds is exclusive to the Origins set. For subsequent sets, the ready-to-play starters are the individual Champion Decks (Spiritforged), the Champion Bundle Vex & Vi (Unleashed), and the Showdown Decks Zed vs Shen (Vendetta).
